is valentine's dinner pricing a scam or am I just old

Booked a table for tonight for me and the wife. Set menu, two courses, a glass of fizz. Same place we went to three years ago and it's nearly double. Nothing about the food is different as far as I can tell, they've just stuck a heart on the menu.

Do restaurants where you are do this too? Is it just a UK thing? And honestly, does anyone still go out on the 14th or do you all do the 15th like sensible people?
