PSA: you don't have to pay to get into most big UK national museums

Seeing a lot of tourists queue for tickets at the big London museums thinking they have to pay. Most of the national ones are free for the permanent collections. Special exhibitions cost extra, and they'll ask for a donation, which is fair if you can.

Not trying to be a travel influencer, just tired of watching people get upsold by random 'skip the line' websites outside.
