Has anyone actually replaced normal search with AI chat? Be honest

I keep hearing people say they “don't Google anymore”. I tried a fortnight using only AI chat for everyday questions, and I'm not convinced.

It's brilliant for “explain this concept” stuff. It's worse for anything where I need a source I can check, opening hours, or anything recent. I caught it confidently wrong twice on things I happened to know.

So who has genuinely switched, and for what kinds of questions?
