Mobile gaming is real gaming and I will die on this hill

Here in Lagos most people I know game on their phones. Consoles are expensive, imported, and the power goes off often enough that a phone with a full battery is just more practical. My phone is my console, my TV and my office.

But every time I talk to people online about games, mobile gets treated like it doesnt count. Some of the most competitive players I know play only on mobile. The skill is real. The money spent is real too, sometimes too real lol.

Why does the mobile stigma still exist? Is it the pay-to-win stuff or just snobbery?
