My smart thermostat has decided I don't live here anymore

It has 'away mode' that kicks in when it doesn't detect motion. Apparently I sit too still while working from home. Twice this week I've noticed the house getting cold, looked over, and it's set itself to eco-away.

To be fair, it's probably saved money. But I now wave at a plastic box on the wall a few times an hour like it's a dog I need to reassure.
