Italy has been through this steel story, sending love to Scunthorpe

Reading about British Steel made me think of home. In Italy we have had years of drama with our own big steel plant, owners coming and going, the state stepping in, workers never knowing what happens next.

Whatever you think about nationalisation, I hope the people in Scunthorpe finally get some stability. As a paramedic I see what job stress does to families. Fifteen months of uncertainty is a long time.
