Celebrity Traitors final: Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian Croft share the prize
Comedian Romesh Ranganathan and Heartstopper actor Sebastian Croft won the second series of The Celebrity Traitors on Friday, sharing the £83,000 prize pot as two Faithfuls, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Croft gave his share to Choose Love and Ranganathan gave his to the Refugee Council.
THR describes the twists. Michael Sheen was “murdered” overnight, Traitor Maya Jama was banished after fellow Traitor King Kenny turned on her, and Kenny was then exposed. In the final three, James Blunt chose to carry on with another banishment, and Ranganathan and Croft voted him out. BBC News says the series drew 15 million viewers.

How each outlet framed it
- BBC News — the broadcaster's own coverage: the “nail-biting” final and its audience, with earlier pieces on the penultimate episode and former players' predictions.
- The Hollywood Reporter — a step-by-step finale explainer for American viewers.
- RTÉ — the Irish angle: comedian Joanne McNally said it was “very embarrassing” that she had thought actor Richard E Grant was a Faithful.
- The Guardian — a sceptical note before the final: John Crace's column said the show “suddenly feels tired”.
Where the numbers differ: the BBC's 15 million is an audience figure for the series; the prize total comes from THR. No outlet in our feeds gave overnight ratings for the final episode alone.
