Minions & Monsters wins July 4th, the quick version

For anyone who skipped the news post: Minions & Monsters took about $36.4M Fri-Sun and $61.4M over five days, about $160M worldwide. Toy Story 5 was right behind at $31M. Young Washington opened third with $20.8M, and Supergirl dropped 74% to just under $10M.

AP says the weekend was down about 24% vs last year but the summer overall is nearly 12% ahead. So, mixed. Also Obsession and Backrooms helped, which I did not see coming.
