Following Alex Eala and WTA matches from the Philippines: practical tips

Since many kababayan here started following tennis because of Alex Eala, some practical points.

1. Use the official WTA app or site for live scores and order of play. Times are local to the tournament, so convert. Asian swing events are the friendliest for Manila time, often afternoon or evening.

2. Matches listed as 'not before' a time can start much later, depending on matches before. Don't plan dinner around it.

3. Early rounds at bigger events may not be on local TV. Check which streaming platform has the rights for that week, it changes by tournament.

4. Rankings update on Mondays. Points from last year's results drop off, so her ranking can move even in weeks she does not play.
