What's the strangest weather you have ever experienced?

Autumn is my favourite season in Korea, clear sky and cool air. It made me think about strange weather I have seen in my life.

Mine: in the 1980s I was on a business trip in the countryside and saw snow and thunder at the same time. Thundersnow, I learned later. The sky was flashing purple and white while big snowflakes were falling. Very quiet thunder, because the snow absorbs the sound. I still remember standing in the field with my mouth open.
