"longest day of the year" posts hit different when you live on the equator

everyone posting about the summer solstice and long evenings. meanwhile in Jakarta the sun sets around the same time all year, more or less. no seasons, just 'hot' and 'hot with rain'.

i'm not complaining. ok slightly complaining. i'd like to see a 10pm sunset once in my life.
