Can you cheat on someone with a video game? A very serious tier list

The BBC asked, per the GONOM post, whether you can cheat on someone with a video game, since Grand Theft Auto VI lets you build a romance with a character. As a professional game tester, I have taken this question personally. Tier list of in-game 'infidelity':

Not cheating: picking the romance option because it unlocks better armour. This is strategy.

Grey area: replaying the whole game to see the other romance ending. Questionable but forgivable.

Concerning: buying the character expensive in-game gifts while your actual partner got a petrol station birthday card.

Divorce: asking your partner to 'give you some privacy' during the date scene.

The Guardian piece in the same post says envy can point to a deeper desire. So if your partner is envious of a digital character, maybe ask what the character is doing that you aren't. Like listening.
