PSA: summer is here, please stop leaving your phone on the car dashboard

Rainy season in Japan now, but real heat is coming soon. Small reminder from a man who has cooked two phones in his life (both times on the dashboard, both times as a GPS, both times I learned nothing).

Heat is bad for batteries. If your phone shows a temperature warning, do not put it in the fridge, just move it to the shade and take off the case. Car mounts on the air vent with AC are better than the sun on the dashboard. Also wireless charging in a hot car is like a sauna for your battery. Stay cool everyone.
