Antonelli needs only ninth in Mexico. What can actually go wrong?
Read the Austin round-up. He leads Russell by 123 points with 125 left, and a ninth place in Mexico City is enough even if Russell wins.
So realistically, what are the scenarios where this doesn't get settled in Mexico? A DNF obviously. A first-lap crash. A grid penalty? Anything else?
I'm not a huge F1 person, so I'm trying to understand whether 'needs two points' is basically a formality for a car that's been winning, or whether Mexico has something about it that makes these things go sideways.
