Portugal is striking again and my Lisbon weekend is now a road trip

TAP planned only 79 of its usual 300-plus daily flights and Iberia expected cuts of 50 to 75%. So my plan to fly to Lisbon became 'let's drive six hours, it will be fun', which my husband has already decided is not fun.

Joking aside, I read the 'individual hours bank' allowing up to 50-hour weeks and I understand why people went out. Spanish people looking at this from next door, honestly, a little nervous and a little jealous of how organised they are.
