Old Hindi film songs vs today's remixes: am I just old?

Every few months an old song from my youth comes back as remix, with heavy beat and some rap in middle. My nephew says it is 'new version for new people'.

I try to be fair. Some remixes bring young people to the original, that is good thing. My nephew now knows Kishore Kumar because of one remix. But many times the melody is cut, the lyrics are cut, only the hook stays.

I don't want to be uncle who say everything old is better. But I want to know, which remix you think is actually good? And which one should be stopped?
