BLACKPINK's Jisoo announces second single 'Addicted' before her first solo LP

Jisoo of BLACKPINK will release “Addicted” on Friday, the second pre-release single from her first solo full-length album, her agency Blissoo said on Tuesday. Yonhap and The Korea Herald both report that the album's release date has not yet been announced.

The song follows “Click”, which came out in September. Yonhap quotes the agency promising another change of concept after a song about two people drawn to each other.

The Korea Herald describes the teaser image, which shows her peeking from behind a black shimmering curtain, and gives the numbers for “Click”: it topped iTunes song charts in nine regions and debuted at No. 186 on Spotify's daily songs chart. Her previous solo set, the EP “Amortage” from February 2025, reached No. 1 on iTunes album charts in 45 regions and sold more than half a million copies in its first week.

How each outlet framed it

  • Yonhap — the agency's announcement, and her earlier Billboard Hot 100 entry with “Eyes Closed”, a duet with British singer Zayn.
  • The Korea Herald — the visuals of the teaser and the chart results of “Click” and “Amortage”.

What we don't know yet: the album's title, track list and release date. Both outlets say only that more details will follow. Jisoo's release comes days after her bandmate Lisa released her EP “Press Play”.
