What was the first game that made you stay up way too late?

I'm doing a little piece for a class on how people form attachments to media, and honestly I'm just curious. What was the first game that made you look up and realize it was 3am?

For me it was The Sims on my family's computer. I built a house, the house caught fire, I rebuilt the house. Repeat until sunrise. How old were you? Do you still play it? Did your parents catch you?
