What's the best way to organise forty years of recipe clippings?
I have two shoeboxes, a ring binder and a biscuit tin full of recipes. Newspaper clippings, handwritten cards from my late mother, backs of packets, printouts from the early internet with the website address at the bottom of the page.
I'd like to get them into some sort of order before they turn to dust. I'm torn between scanning everything into a searchable app, or a proper physical binder with sleeves organised by course.
Has anyone done this at scale? I'm particularly worried about the handwritten ones. I want to keep the originals but also have copies that the grandchildren can actually find and use. Any app recommendations, or just a filing approach that worked for you?
