Unpopular opinion: carbon footprint calculators are a guilt trip

I tried three different calculators and got three different numbers. All of them ended with me feeling bad about eating rice and visiting my parents.

Not saying individual choices don't matter. But I'm a doctor working long shifts in Manila, and being told my commute is the problem feels a bit off when the big levers are elsewhere. Change my mind?
