Take-Two holds GTA 6 at 19 November and guides $8bn in bookings, but says nothing on price

Take-Two Interactive confirmed on its 21 May earnings call that Grand Theft Auto VI still launches on 19 November 2026, Wccftech reported. Revenue and profit beat analyst expectations, and the company guided net bookings of $8.0 billion to $8.2 billion for fiscal 2027. Marketing is still set to begin in the summer, with details to come from Rockstar Games.

Wccftech added that GTA V has sold nearly 230 million units and Red Dead Redemption 2 85 million, and that Take-Two plans 29 titles through fiscal 2029. GameLuster said the date had slipped twice before, from a late 2025 target to 26 May 2026 and then to 19 November, and that Strauss Zelnick later told Bloomberg the third trailer and preorders were expected in late June or early July. Insider Gaming said no price was discussed on the call, despite unconfirmed rumours of $100.

“I think reiterating November 19 as a launch day today is probably a positive” — Strauss Zelnick, via GameLuster

How each outlet framed it

  • Wccftech — the numbers and the PC question, where Zelnick said “Rockstar Games has announced GTA 6 for console only so far.”
  • GameLuster — the delay history and the summer marketing window, with the price to be revealed when preorders open.
  • Insider Gaming — the fans' view: no new delay, but still no price, preorders or third trailer.

Where the numbers differ: Insider Gaming put Take-Two's revenue projection at about $8 billion for “fiscal 2026”; Wccftech gave $8.0–8.2 billion in net bookings for fiscal 2027, and GameLuster cited $8.2 billion.
