Can you actually get into cricket as an adult, or is it too late?
Genuine question. I'm English, so in theory I should already understand cricket, but I grew up in a house where it was football or nothing.
Every summer I try to watch a bit and I get lost around the word 'leg'. Then I try a five-day match and it's five days and I have a job.
Is it realistic to start following it properly in your late twenties? What format do people recommend starting with? I'm a bit suspicious of anyone who says 'just watch it, it's simple', because clearly it isn't.
