Ebola emergency: how worried should international travellers be right now?

Sad news first: my thoughts go out to the families in Congo and Uganda. This is a genuine question, not panic. My daughter has a work trip through East Africa planned for later this year and she's asking me whether to reconsider.

From the GONOM post: WHO declared it a global emergency, there are cases in both Kampala and Kinshasa, and this Bundibugyo strain has no approved vaccine. But WHO also said it does not meet the criteria for a pandemic emergency. How do people here read that? Is it a "follow official advice and carry on" situation, or would you postpone?
