Jury duty: have you done it, and does your country even have it?

Retired lawyer here, and I'm curious how this looks around the world. In England you can be summoned for jury service and, unless you have a very good reason, you go.

People either find it fascinating or the most tedious fortnight of their lives. Often both.

Have you served? Does your country use juries at all, or do judges decide everything?
