should I buy a Switch 2 now or wait? US price goes up 1 September

So Nintendo says Switch 2 has sold 19.86 million, and the US price goes from $449.99 to $499.99 on 1 September. Japan gets hit first, on 25 May.

My kids have been asking for months. Is it smarter to buy now before the rise, or wait for a bundle around the holidays? Do bundles usually make up the difference? Has anyone done the maths?
