Sawe 1:59:30 in London. Key numbers

For anyone who missed it:

1:59:30, first official sub-two marathon. Old world record was Kiptum's 2:00:35, beaten by 65 seconds. Kejelcha also went under two (1:59:41) in his first marathon. Kiplimo third, 2:00:28, also under the old record.

Kipchoge's earlier sub-2 runs were not official races, that's why this counts as the first. Sawe said he wanted to show he is clean. Make of that what you will.
