drafting a QB first overall so he can sit behind kirk cousins is peak raiders

so let me get this right. Raiders take Fernando Mendoza first overall. Heisman winner, 41 touchdowns, 16-0 season, led Indiana to its first national title. and the plan is... he probably doesn't start because they signed Kirk Cousins.

head coach literally said ideally he wouldn't start from day one. tom brady is going to mentor him. a team that hasn't won a playoff game since 2002 has decided patience is the move now. respect honestly 🙃

one nice bit though, he watched it at home near Miami so his mom wouldn't have to travel. good kid. hope they don't ruin him.
