At home or in the cinema? At my age the cinema is a ritual

I am retired and I still go to the cinema every Wednesday morning, when it is quiet and cheap. My children think this is strange when I have a big television at home.

But is it the same? At home I check my phone, I make tea, I pause. In the cinema I cannot escape, and I think that is the point. Do younger people feel this too, or is it only my generation?

And which films do you think must be seen in a cinema? Are there films that are actually better at home?
