the AP vs CNN framing on the quarter is a nice example of why GONOM works

What I liked in this one: CNN does the full scoreboard of March and the rebound on the last day, and AP had already marked the low point on 26 March, when the Nasdaq went into correction after Iran rejected the ceasefire proposal through Pakistan. Same quarter, but if you only read one you get very different mood.

Reading only the 31 March story you think "ok, rally, peace coming, fine". Reading only the 26 March one you think everything is collapsing. Both true, at different days. As journalism student this is exactly what our professor keep telling us about choosing your news peg.
