Do you use AI image tools for client work? I'm worried about copyright

I'm a graphic designer in Osaka. Some clients now ask me to 'just use AI' to make concept images faster and cheaper. I can do it, but I have many questions.

If I generate an image, who owns it? Can my client register it as their logo? What happens if the image looks similar to another artist's work, who is responsible, me or the tool company? And should I tell the client that I used AI?

How do other designers handle this? Do you have a clause in your contract? I don't want to get in trouble later because of something I didn't understand.
