Accessibility settings worth turning on even if you don't 'need' them
A lot of people skip the accessibility menu because they think it isn't for them. I've started going through it in every game and it's honestly improved my experience a lot, so here's what I turn on.
Subtitles with speaker names and a background box. Easier to follow, and you can play with the volume low. Hold-to-toggle. Switch 'hold button' actions to 'press once' to save your hands. Reduce camera shake / motion blur. If you ever feel a bit sick after playing, try this first.
Colour filters if you struggle to read UI markers, and aim assist or 'skip puzzle' options, which aren't cheating. It's your game.
The Last of Us Part II is still the one I point people to for how good a menu can be. Add your own favourites!
