Zverev No 1: is it official or not? The outlets don't agree

Little detail from the GONOM post that I enjoyed. BBC Sport and ABC say Zverev's rise to No 1 is done. The Guardian calls him "world No 1-elect", which suggests it becomes official only when the new rankings come out.

For me, both are correct in a way. Mathematically it is clinched (no one can catch him this week), but the list is not published yet. Typical journalism question: do you report what is certain, or what is official?
