PSA: bleed your radiators before you crank the heating

it's that time. if the top of your radiator is cold and the bottom is hot, there's air in it and you're paying to heat nothing. radiator key, old towel, 30 seconds per radiator. done.

also check your thermostat schedule. mine was still set for a June that I clearly did not have.
