Is Halloween actually a thing in your country?

I'm a nurse in the US and every October our unit goes all in. Spider webs on the nurse station, the doctors in scrubs printed like skeletons, the full thing. My patients love it.

But I realise I have no idea if this is normal anywhere else. Is Halloween big where you live, or is it 'an American thing'? Do kids trick-or-treat?
