PHP outage in Japan: should a small shop owner worry about their own site?
I run a small shop in Leeds and our website runs on PHP, as I learned this week. When I read that two critical flaws rated 9.2 knocked out games like Uma Musume and Granblue Fantasy and even Nintendo services, my first thought was "am I next?"
PHP released patched versions the same day. I'm not technical. Is this something I should ring my web person about straight away, or is it mostly a big-service problem?
