should the voting age be 16?

In Germany, 16-year-olds can already vote in some state and local elections. I've seen it at work: teenagers who are interested are often more informed than adults.

Arguments I hear against: maturity, parent influence. Arguments for: they live with the long-term results longest. Where do you stand?
