Volunteered at a food bank for the first time today!!

I finally did it! Four hours sorting donations, packing boxes, and talking with people coming in. It was so much more than I expected! The other volunteers were super welcoming, and one older lady taught me how to stack tins properly (there is a right way, apparently!).

It also made me realise how many working people need help these days. Not what I expected at all. Has anyone else volunteered somewhere? Would love to hear!
