What's one law in your country that foreigners find weird?

I'll start: in a lot of US states you can't buy alcohol before a certain time on Sundays, and visitors always find that bizarre. Also you can't legally drink until 21 but you can vote, join the army, etc. at 18.

What's yours? Bonus points if you actually agree with it. And does anyone know why some of these rules exist in the first place?
