Looking for horror films that are actually well made, not just jump scares

I'm planning a small Halloween marathon for some friends. Most of them roll their eyes at cheap jump scares. I want films that are scary because they're built well: sound design, pacing, a slow creep.

So far I've got The Shining, Hereditary and The Babadook. I'd love some non-English ones too, ideally from different countries, so it's not all American haunted houses.
