Unpopular opinion: pumpkin spice is fine, actually
Every October the internet decides that liking pumpkin spice makes you a basic person with no personality. I'm in my fifties. I have no personality left to protect.
It's cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and clove. Grandmothers have been putting that mix into pies for generations and nobody called them basic. The problem isn't the spice, it's that companies put it into things that should never have it, like dog shampoo or, I assume soon, motor oil.
In a latte or a loaf of bread? Delicious. In everything? No. That's a reasonable position and I'll die on this small, cinnamon-scented hill.
