thinking of everyone on Kauai. 92% without power is a lot

The Lowell post says the storm didn't even make landfall, but still knocked out power to nearly 92% of the Kauai utility's customers, flooded coastal roads and led to about 300 people being evacuated.

I have a friend who moved there last year. She's ok, but says the whole island is just very quiet and dark at night. Sending good thoughts to everyone there. 💛
