International breaks are a statistical crime against fans
Quick maths. A typical club season has a handful of international breaks, each roughly two weeks. That's a lot of weekends with no league football, and the friendlies in them are mostly meaningless.
I'm not against international football. I just think fewer, bigger windows would be better for everyone, especially players who fly across the world for a game they don't care about.
