Basketball is a religion in the Philippines, change my mind

Every barangay has a court. Every court has a game going at any hour, in any weather, in flip-flops if necessary. My late husband played until he was seventy and still argued every foul.

I have nursed men who came into the ER with sprained ankles from pickup games and asked when they could play again before asking if they would walk again. Name me a country that loves a sport more.
