Esports World Cup in Paris: good move or just a convenient one?

The EWC moved from Riyadh to Paris at short notice, and AFP put it down to the Middle East war. Macron handed over the trophy, AG.AL won with 5,300 points, Falcons second.

I'll push back a bit on the "glimpse into the future" line. Moving because you had to isn't quite the same as choosing Europe. Do people think it goes back next year, or is this a permanent shift?
