What's the one money habit you picked up from your parents?

Good or bad! My mum kept every receipt in a shoebox for 40 years and I've ended up with exactly the same shoebox!

My dad's habit was paying everything in cash and counting the change twice. Haven't picked that one up yet! What about you lot?
