PSA from a pharmacist: your bathroom is the worst place for your medicines
Small public service post because I see this every week at work. Heat and humidity from showers can degrade a lot of medicines faster than the date on the box suggests, especially tablets in blister packs that have been opened, and anything like insulin or eye drops that has specific storage instructions.
Best place is usually a cool, dry cupboard away from the kitchen stove and out of reach of children. And please, once a year, check what is expired and take it back to a pharmacy instead of throwing it in the bin or the toilet. Most pharmacies will accept them. Ok, lecture over :)
