Has anyone else basically stopped searching and just asks a chatbot now?
I noticed this about myself last week. I needed to know whether a lease clause was standard in my state, and instead of searching I typed the whole question into a chatbot, got a tidy answer, and moved on. Only later did I realise I had not opened a single source.
As a law student that is a little embarrassing. Half my coursework is about checking where a claim comes from. But the convenience is real, and I suspect a lot of people have quietly made the same switch.
So, honest question: when do you still use a normal search engine, and when do you trust the chat answer? Do you click through to sources, or do you just take the summary?
